Kinderland

Kinderland Baku — the city of professions for kids

Kinderland Baku is the first interactive educational and entertainment center in Azerbaijan based on the “city of professions” concept. Designed for children aged 4 to 14, it offers a miniature city where kids can try out various professions, earn virtual money, and learn real-life social and economic skills — all in a fun, engaging, and safe environment.

The center is located inside Ganjlik Mall, one of Baku’s most visited shopping and entertainment complexes, making it easily accessible to families and tourists.

What is Kinderland?

Kinderland is a child-sized replica of a real city, complete with streets, buildings, stores, a hospital, fire station, TV studio, bank, police department, beauty salon, and more. Upon entry, each child receives a passport and some starting "money" — the center’s own play currency. Children can then choose professions, earn wages, and spend their earnings in different parts of the city.

Professions and activities

Kinderland features more than 60 professions, including:

  • Doctor

  • Firefighter

  • Police officer

  • News anchor

  • Engineer

  • Baker

  • Florist

  • Hairdresser

  • Mechanic

  • Courier

  • Pilot and many more

Each activity lasts approximately 20–30 minutes. After completing a task, kids receive payment in play currency and can use it to "buy" goods or experiences within Kinderland — such as in a toy store, café, or workshop. This system encourages financial literacy, responsibility, and decision-making in a playful context.

Learning through play

Kinderland is more than entertainment — it’s an immersive educational experience. It helps children:

  • build responsibility and independence;

  • understand the value of work and money;

  • develop teamwork and communication;

  • strengthen logic, language, and critical thinking.

Trained facilitators and instructors guide children through each role and ensure they are engaged, safe, and having fun.

Who is it for?

Kinderland is ideal for:
