Day 2 – Old City and Oil Boom Architecture

Walking tour of the Old City Icherisheher — an ancient residential quarter in the heart of Baku, surrounded by fortress walls with the famous Maiden Tower. Inside the Old City you will find dozens of historical monuments: Market Square, mosques, caravanserais, baths, residential houses, and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs — a true gem of Azerbaijani architecture

Discover the architectural heritage of the first oil boom, including magnificent mansions of Baku oil barons

Day 3 – Gobustan, Mud Volcanoes & Nobel Heritage

Excursion to the Gobustan Reserve with its rock carvings and mud volcanoes. Around 40% of the world’s mud volcanoes are found here. On the way, enjoy the view of the famous offshore oil platforms

Day 5 – On the Road to Sheki

Transfer to Sheki with stops at the Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza and Shamakhi — former capital of the Shirvan Khanate, visit the Yeddi Gumbez Mausoleum and Juma Mosque
Arrival in Sheki — tour of the Palace of Sheki Khans, fortress walls and towers, caravanserai, Juma Mosque, and medieval baths
Evening walk in Sheki, visit souvenir shops, taste the famous Sheki halva

Day 6 – Ancient Christian Heritage and Qabala
