You will see:
• The Maiden Tower — a mysterious symbol of Baku, full of legends.
• Market Square — once the center of Eastern trade.

14:30–16:00 — Discovering the architecture of the first oil boom
After exploring Icherisheher, we continue along streets lined with luxurious mansions built by Baku’s oil barons in the early 1900s. These buildings, designed in European Art Nouveau style with Oriental touches, still impress with their grandeur and elegance.
We will also view the exterior of the Azerbaijan National History Museum, located in one of Baku’s most beautiful buildings — the former residence of famous philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev. This Neo-Renaissance palace is one of the city’s main architectural highlights.
