Electronic Visa to Azerbaijan (e-Visa)

General Information

Foreign citizens and stateless persons can apply for an electronic visa to enter the Republic of Azerbaijan via the official portal www.evisa.gov.az.

There are two types of e-Visas:

• Standard visa — issued within 3 business days

• Urgent visa — issued within 3 hours, including weekends and holidays

The application result will be sent to the applicant’s email. If the email is not received, status can be checked at: www.evisa.gov.az/en/check-status

Application Types

Applications can be submitted:

• for individuals

• for a family (minimum 2, maximum 10 people)

• for a group (minimum 10, maximum 300 people)

All information is submitted directly online.

Requirements

• Applications must be submitted at least 3 business days before the planned travel date.

• The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the expiry date of the e-visa.

• Once payment is made, confirmation will be displayed on screen and sent to the applicant’s email.

Fees and Payment

• Government fee: 20 USD

• Service fee for visa processing: 9 USD

• Payments are made online only using Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay or JCB. The card does not have to be in the applicant’s name.
