Meysari Winery
History and Foundation
Meysari Winery was established in 2014 under the Shirvan Wines brand and became the first EU-certified organic winery in Azerbaijan. Initially, the vineyard area was about 40 hectares, and today it has expanded to over 160 hectares.
The production facility was launched between 2017 and 2018 and is equipped with advanced French technology from Pera-Pellenc. It is located at an elevation of 750–850 meters in the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains. The site also includes the Abgora restaurant, a wine tasting hall, a wine museum, and a guesthouse.

The winery adheres to strict organic farming principles: no pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, or irrigation systems are used. Grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small baskets. The winery is actively engaged in wine tourism, offering guided tours, tastings of 3 to 6 wines with food pairings, masterclasses, and accommodation in its guesthouse. It is certified by Ecocert and promotes sustainability, eco-tourism, and the philosophy of estate-grown wines.
